Battle in Space RYC/RJCC

Sabio Fencing Academy had a strong showing at the April 19–20 regional tournament, earning 14 Top-8 finishes across Junior, Cadet, and Y14 events 🔥

Leading the way, Evan Ray captured gold in Junior Men’s Saber 🥇, while the squad showed incredible depth with five fencers in the Top 8. On the women’s side, Claire Moon added a Top-8 finish in Junior Women’s Saber.

In Cadet Men’s Saber, Rahm Shankar earned bronze 🥉, with additional Top-8 finishes from Saivarun Kondogi and Jayden Kang. Yunseo Seo also placed Top 8 in Cadet Women’s Saber.

Our younger athletes continued to impress, with Matthew Woster taking silver 🥈 in Y14 Men’s Saber, Saivarun Kondogi adding a bronze 🥉, and more Top-8 results from Jayden Kang and Claire Moon.

Overall, this tournament highlighted Sabio’s depth, growth, and consistency across all age groups 💪
